Meet the Instructor!
Taylor Meyer is the founder of Tailored K9 Training and a Certified Master Dog Trainer. She started Tailored K9 Training with a simple goal: to help dogs and their owners build strong, lasting relationships through clear communication, structure, and customized training.
For as long as she can remember, Taylor has always felt a deep connection with dogs. As a person with a disability, she understands firsthand how powerful a dog can be, and how much training can help both the owner and themselves. Her own dogs have supported her through many stages of life, and they continue to inspire the work she does every day.
In 2022, Taylor earned her Certified Master Dog Trainer certification and continues to grow her knowledge through hands-on experience with dogs of all breeds, ages, and behavioral needs. She believes that every dog is different and that training should be built around the individual dog and owner.
Based in Osgood, Indiana, Tailored K9 Training offers personalized training, quality boarding, and doggy daycare through the K-9 to 5 program. Whether a family is working on basic obedience, behavior challenges, or simply wants a well-mannered companion, Taylor is committed to helping each dog reach its full potential.
Taylor is also the creator of TK9 Tack, a line of durable, handmade dog collars and leashes designed for everyday life. Each piece is easy to clean, built to last, affordable, and available in fun color combinations with personalized options.
When she is not training or working with clients, Taylor can usually be found with her own dogs, who are at the heart of everything she does (you can meet them below).
